EPG has always worked, but I noticed that my listings are only out 6 days instead of 15. I tried to do a manual EPG update from config, and got an error message "Your EPG source does not appear to be configured correctly. Please check the EPG Source Settings and try again. System.Data.OleDb.OleDbException: File sharing lock count exceeded. Increase MaxLocksPerFile registry entry." Attached is zipped copy of config.exe.log. Registry entry is set to 9500. What could be wrong?

You may need to renew your zap2it account, something like that.
AMD Athlon 64 3000, HDD: 80, 120, 200 GB, Hauppauge 350 + 150, MVP, Asus 6000L Laptop client, Asus X50sl client,
Fritz!box 7140 modem/router, GBPVR 1.3.7.

How big is the gbpvr.mdb file in your gbpvr directory?

Uh, it's 123MB. I run comskip, and it doesn't seem to cleanup the mdb if it's running. I'm guessing there's dead stuff in there? If so, what can I use to clean it out?

You must have installed GB-PVR quite a while ago. The default install has used a SQLite database for about the last year, and users that started with older versions have been encouraged to switch over.

You should try running the ChangeDatabase utility to switch to SQLite.

Not really. The utility has done a clean switch over for the vast majority of users. Its a non-destructive process, so nothing to worry about if it doesnt work - your original access .mdb file is left un-altered, and can be easily switch back to.

Hopefully it'll be able to read data from your old database. Give your error indicates problems with the database, there is certainly a possibility of problems, but you wont know until you try it.

Converson ran long, I was worried, but it came through without a hitch. gbpvr comes up MUCH faster now, and EPG goes out 15 days!
Thanks.
Are there any maintenance issues with the sqlite db in terms of compatcing, etc. like there were with mdb? Are the extra indexes mentioned in early releases of sqlite posts automatically installed in 99.12? (I had held off updating for a long time because of the 350, but now I use the 1600 more)

From my experience, its pretty good at maintaining itself. I've never never had to do anything on my lounge setup.

They're all included by default, so you dont need to worry about this.

OK, thanks again. You're quite the night owl, aren't you... or are you up early on Monday?? :-)
