Transcode

I'm trying to use the video library to transcode a home view in DV format to DivX. Because both are .avi files it GBPVR tries to write to itself and erases the original file.

How do I get it to transcode to another filename?

Sorry, I dont think you can. The usual use is from .mpg to .avi etc, so I hadnt really thought to do anything to make sure the filename is unique if the user tries to go from .avi to .avi.

You can probably edit the confirm.xml to have:

<Conversion name="DivX" cmd="-y -i {SOURCE_FILE} -f avi -ab 224 -ac 2 -acodec mp3 -vcodec mpeg4 -b 1000k -vtag DIVX {DEST_FILE}" targetExtension="-2.avi" />
