I've been having this problem for quite a while (several versions ago). I've updated GBPVR and Comskip. One show, The Daily Show, consistently has the commercials evaluated in the wrong places. Other behavior is that I get a 'Playback Failed' message the first time I try to play one of the recorded episodes. I have to go play a different show entirely then come back and play the Daily Show episode that I want. Sometimes that doesn't even work and I have to delete one of the episodes first. Another behavior this causes is that when I delete an episode of the Daily Show in the client, it doesn't disappear until I restart the app. Note, these are set to record at like 4am and I don't watch them until 5 the next day.

I'm wondering if there isn't just some database problem. If I delete all Daily Show episodes, remove the recurring recording, then start again will this go away? Will that clear out all prior data from the Daily Show so I can start fresh? This is the only show that this occurs with - Colbert Report is fine Smile

Logs attached.

Thanks.

I cant help you with the comskip ad identification problem - that'll be more of comskip bug.

Does selecting a different video/audio decoder combination help with the other error you mention?

I used to have a comskip problem when the comskip file was empty. It seemed that GBPVR couldn't figure out the comskip file. Try deleting the comskip files and playing your show.

When you assume comskip is making a mistake this is how you can ask for help

And I do welcome your support request in this way as it helps me improving comskip for an even broader set of conditions
