Is there a way of getting the currentTime to show on the OSD or will this be available in a later version?

By OSD, I guess, it's just displaying when watching TV live ? I'm thinking it would be good if there is an option (able to turn on/off in manual recording) to record the "live" time into the MPEG so that when I'm watching, I know what the actual time was at the particular point into the MPEG. Should I add it to the wish list ? Thanks.

The old GBPVR used to show you the current time when pressing Ctrl-B when playing either videos or live TV. This is currently missing, I'm going to buy a clock to stick next to the TV Big Grin so that I can see the current time until Sub can resurrect this function

I think you are referring to the actual time (wall clock) when watching a video, right ? I'm talking about recording the time into the video, so that I know what time it was when the show was recording.

Sorry, but I'm unlikely to do that.
