Does the ThemeManager plug-in still work with PVRX2?

It crashes for me. Also, it looks like the installer looks for an environment variable named %skinroot% - where is that supposed to point to? Skin or Skin2?

Are you using this with the Basic skin? If so perhaps MixMan could comment...?

The Themes plugin is no longer updated or supported but if you post your pvrx2.exe.log file I'll take a look.

I would suspect that maybe due to the skin2 folder now being used for skins, the Thememanager is no longer a viable option. If I remember correctly, MixMan's latest method for changing themes is to use the settings screen within GBPVR to switch themes.

So. once I get the themes in the Skin2 folder, they should show up in the Settings menu?

The ThemeManager was made for old GBPVR.exe and does not work with PVRX2.exe. The selfextracting Themes for old Basic skin used the %skinroot% variable during installation. May both rest in peace.

Nowadays it is possible to change skins and themes from withing PVRX2 in System/Settings menu.
Unfortunatly this function was broken in the last PVRX2 v1.3.7.
I hope Sub will fix it for next bug fix update.

It is always possible to change themes in the Basic skin by running CopyTheme.bat in the _Theme.XXXX folders

Is it possible to save a customised theme and retrieve it later in the latest version?

The is no such thing is a latest version of the Themes manager plugin. What you have, is the most recent, and will no longer be updated as I (the plugin author) have moved on to the Community Skin and SkinPlugin (which does support custom theme save/load).
