Any TelstraClear people around using PVR150, PVR500 and getting TV1, 2, 3 off the telstra cable (the re-broadcast anlogue signal)??

What is your GBPVR channel settings for Prime and TV3 - these channels for me are a bit off, fuzzy lines etc.

I found this on geekzone:
0 - Saturn Weather - 147 Mhz
1 - One - 112 MHz
2 - Two - 119 MHz
3 - TV3 - 126 Mhz
4 - C4 - 203 Mhz
5 - Prime - 266 MHz
6 - CTV - 133 MHz
7 - Maori - 553 MHz
8 - Decoder UHF Broadcast - 815 MHz
9 - Saturn Choose (Guide) - 259 MHz
10 - Saturn PPV - 245 MHz
11 - Saturn Mosaic (Index) - 252 MHz

But this doesn't convert to what GBPVR uses..

Currently my settings are:
1 - 1
2 - 67
3 - 91
Prime - 319

The analogue channel line-ups are different between Wellington and Christchruch networks and changes over time. I recommend pulling FTA from aerial.

I didn't realise they changed...ok, maybe I'll need to grab them off an aerial, can't remember why I did it this way..

Does anyone know where I get the Wellington (kaukau I think) frequencies from?

The second lot? they are what are listed in my capture sources for my pvr 500.

The others are from geekzone and are the MHz values that someone figured out for the telstra signal. On the telstra cable they also rebroadcast all of the fta channels as a courtesy service so that you can just run one aerial into your tv (i run my TCL decoder of a tv channel rather than AV).

are you still having issues with these frequencies ?

I pull out the tv from my cable internet feed from telstra and dont have any issues with the quality of the shows etc - mind you im only getting TV1, TV2, TV3, C4, Prime, and Maori which are basically the FTA channels that dont get encrypted after any period of time.

i dont know if you will experience the same thing with your PVR500 card but with my 150 and 150MCE i found that i had to use the tuning assistant to get the channel number - i couldnt use the freqs like the ones you supplied in your first post...

if you are still interest in this - i can get the channel numbers from my system tonight

cheers

Yeah I wouldn't mind having a look, 3 is still a bit crapping looking, but I haven't really got off my butt to do much about it..
