I can't seem to find out what is causing this.
Specs:
GBPVR 099
Haupage dual DVB-t for MCE
OS is XP Pro SP2 (not MCE)
When a TV guide Scheduled recording begins, I get both the scheduled recording of the program plus GBPVR starts a manual recording of the show.
This means that:
a) I can't watch another channel, I have to play one of these two recordings
b) to free up a tuner I have to kill the recording which inevitably is the scheduled one (tv guide) which then means the manual recording doesn't stop at the end of the program but just keeps on
I cannot find the way to stop the manual recording process. There just doesn't seem to be any where in gbpvr to stop a manual recording so for now I am shutting down the PC.
Initially I thought this was overzealous clicking but the problem arises everytime I record from TV Guide
My other issue, which may be related is that when ever I start GBPVR the tuners are not "online". So before I can watch or record anything I have to restart the recording service.
Does anyone have any experience with either of these issues that they can offer some advice on please?
thank you
