Since I havn't seen anyone get ATSC working on a client PC is there any possability of streaming analog from a server, but using a local ATSC card for watching HD on a client PC?

The GBPVR client can't make use of a local tuner. You can use the software provided with your ATSC tuner card to watch local HD.

I'll be honest, its probably not going to happen anytime soon - too many changes required to support this.
It is something I'd like to have in future though.
The more I think about this the more I want it...I was planning on buying a dedicated pc to run my main tv. I would want a tuner locally so I could watch ota atsc, but would want my server (which is located downstairs from the tv) to do all of the recording and storage work.
Edit: sub, you just need to forget about sleeping and cater to our every request ![]()

or if we could figure out a way around the problem with not being able to stream dvr-ms files while they are being recorded...

Its not the sort of things I can test myself though, so I'll need a guinea pig or two.
