Half Screen

So I've downloaded a KvCD Iso file from bittorrent. I've converted the Iso file to an mpeg. When I try to play the mpeg through my media-mvp it appears squished in the upper half of my TV. When I play the mpeg on my PC is looks fine.

What do I do?

The MVP can only cope with standard aspect ratios, otherwise its pushed to the top of the screen like you describe.

When you converted the iso to mpeg, its best to also generate a standard aspect ratio and resolution.

How do you do that?

It depends what tool you used to convert it to an MPEG file. Some tools have options for converting videos to standard NTSC 720x480 or PAL 720x576 etc.

How do you do that?

For a really quick & dirty solution, I just rename the mpg file to avi and let gbpvr do it auto-magically.
