You can easily setup an shortcut to GB-PVR.exe for here, and also create a shortcut to GBPVRTray.exe in her startup folder.

ive narrowed down a bug with recording, it seems every time i scheduled recording is due to start and live tv is going, it sometimes kicks me out (everytime it kicked me out if live tv wasnt running for hours and hours) but the video file is only a around 600ks, it says its recording in recordings menu until its suppose to end, but only a blank 600kish file is created. also it doesnt kick me out of live tv until the show actually starts, not when ive booked it (ie the preshow padding is ignored). im running it on the pvr350 with tv out.

Yes, I saw you other post earlier today and spent some time look at it this morning and I think I've corrected the problem. I'll do some more testing tonight.

The pre/post-padding is usually only applied if the tuner is not in use, so (to be consistent) you should be able to watch right up real show start time before GB-PVR decides you cant use the tuner any longer. That said, because of the tuner/lease renewal scheme works, you may still end up with 30 seconds or so of pre-padding.

Sub,
I'm getting this error when hitting the record button from the web: Server Error in '/gbpvr' Application. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Runtime Error Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine. Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a <customErrors> tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This <customErrors> tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off". <!-- Web.Config Configuration File --> <configuration>   <system.web>     <customErrors mode="Off"/>   </system.web> </configuration> Notes: The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom error page by modifying the "defaultRedirect" attribute of the application's <customErrors> configuration tag to point to a custom error page URL. <!-- Web.Config Configuration File --> <configuration>   <system.web>     <customErrors mode="RemoteOnly" defaultRedirect="mycustompage.htm"/>   </system.web> </configuration> -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- any thoughts?? Thanks Shoe47

I've not tried the web interface in v0.23 myself, but its probably the sixth item listed here: http://gbpvr.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=5;t=35

[b Wrote:Quote[/b] (sub @ Nov. 27 2004,21:47)]I've uploaded the new v0.23 release to http://www.gbpvr.com/GBPVR0238.msi.Is there a "hotkey" to get back to the present?  And, it doesen't seem that the xx seconds skip key works (eg. I type 60 on the Hauppauge remote, then skip). Otherwisie, this was one of the key components that changes GBPVR from a "toy" that works well to something that will work in everyday life.  Only thing now is RW of current channel regardless of recording status (obviously unless another recording is on) (an "instant replay button" if  you will, press a button, and the show automatically rewinds x seconds.) Thanks, ANEDJF

Well after several days now of using the new version it appears the 350 lockup bug is finally squashed thanks to your hard work, sub, great job!
Still having issues with shows being missed for season record however, it's not just 1 show it's a few I've noticed now, hopefully we can figure out wtf is up with that and squash that bug too!
