v1.08 - PVRX2

I recorded Top Gear Polar Special tonight by selecting the program in the TV Guide & clicking on quick record. (UK, BBC2)

It recorded ok except that it was saved in the Manual recordings folder instead of the Top Gear Polar Special folder. IIRC, this didn't happen with the old version (0.9912)

Should this happen, sub?

The only way it could happen is if the specified show listing was missing from your database at the time it went to do the recording.

This also happened on monday with another recording.

What would cause these to not be in the database?

I dont know - nothing springs to mind.

What EPG source are you using, and have you got the 'complete EPG reload' setting enabled? Where did you schedule the recording from - the builtin TV Guide? EWA? Some other plugin?

I'm using xmltv, EPG reload is enabled & I used the builtin TV Guide & selected quick record.

Can you reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the logs?

I've had this happen on a few random occasions using previous version including 0.99.12. It's only happened about 3 or 4 times so it's difficult to replicate.

I think it has always been when I use quick record (highlight the program in the guide and press the rec button on the remote or select "Quick record" from the menu) AFTER the program has already started or if it's already into the pre-record buffer time.

I've also noticed that since upgrading to 1.08 every 'quick record' has no description and is displayed as a manual recording.

Works perfectly for sheduled/repeat records. I've not mentioned it before as just assumed it might be fixed in the latest build (which i am yet to install Smile ).

I have also had this happen randomly with PVRX2. For two or three days straight, about half of what I recorded went into the manual recordings folder.

It quit doing it on it's own. I don't even think I rebooted the machine. Has not happened for a couple of weeks now.

I use Zap2it and never use "Quick record"
