Ethernet Speed

I am setting up a new system, and are wondering if anyone has tried attaching a MediaMVP unit to the Server PC via a wireless link at a theoretical 54mg speed. Nothing beats copper, but wondered what speed is the minimum ethernet speed for effective MVP operation when playing DVDs or LiveTV.

I have two MVPs running and one of them is wireless. It's actually Wireless-B or 10mb. GB-PVR, LiveTV and viewing recorded shows all work fine as long as you have the recording bitrates set to about 3500. Make sure you edit the settings for both LiveTV quality and and other quality settings your going to use. I would use wireless only if you have to. Go wired if possible. Also, I'm running with no encryption. That may make a difference.
