I can reproduce this one. While in gbpvr (via pxr2) the system does some recordings. When the recordings are completed they do not show up in the Recordings screen until I exit gbpvr and restart it.

Any idea why this is happening?

Thanks

Nobody else has this problem? Basically after recordings have been completed for anyway, they don't show up in Recordings until I exit gbpvr completely and restart it. I can't believe it's only me

I haven't needed to restart PVRX2, but for the life of me, I don't know how I get the list to refresh.

Maybe I exited Recordings, and then re-entered it...

Exactly. I get around the problem by exiting gbpvr and going back into it again. Sub - is this something you can reproduce?

Thanks

I never exited PVRX2 for it to show up. I definately tried going in and out of Recordings and it never showed up. I think when I watched the recording using Video Library it triggered something (possibly updating the last recording position for the resume function?).

Not that it's a big deal, but when it happens I worry about WAF. "I can't find my show, DID IT NOT RECORD?!?" rut row shaggy... Big Grin

No, I've not seen it here, but I did have a good go at reproducing it this morning.

When I schedule a recording, then click 'Pending' in the Recordings screen, I can see it listed as 'recording'. Just sitting back and watching, not pressing anything - when the recording reaches the end time, I see it disappear from the Pending list. If I then click 'Whats New' I can see it listed there.

It is possible its something I've fixed post 1.0.8, because there have been alot of small bug fixes, but I dont remember anything specifically that was meant to fix this.

You're not still using the old Access database?

I'm using 1.11.

Try this: confirm pending recording, then switch to the What's New Panel. When the recording finishes, it should pop in, shouldn't it? That would imply realtime refresh, but I'm sure it worked like that with the old GUI...

No it doesnt, but GBPVR.exe has always behaved this way too. The only recording list that is dynamically monitored when you're viewing it is the 'pending' list.

Just to add my observations - I've just had 2 recordings complete (30 mins apart). In both cases I had PVRX2 open at the Main Menu and when the recordings had finished, I selected 'Recordings' and they were visible in 'What's New' (my default recordings view).

Cheers,
Brian
