Basically I have managed to get GB-PVR to record to my 2 Terabyte fileserver. It been pretty sweet until you restart the machine or have a power outage. My Fileserver is on a battery backup so is 65% of the network.
Guess where my PVR is in the network... its in last 35% of the unprotected network. The PVR machine is not on a battery backup either.

The problem I am having is that when I go to recordings in GB-PVR after a restart or a power outage, about 75% of all the programs that I had recorded and that were in the list before restart/Power is no longer there. I can go to video library and play any of the programs and they are just fine. Just no data info for any of the programs that gb-pvr can use.

How can I correct this or is there a better way to record the programs and move the files to my fileserver?

Thanks
~Mp

If you're trying to record to a non-local drive, you'll probably be best to set <AutoRemoveMissingRecordings>false</AutoRemoveMissingRecordings> in config.xml.

If the problem has just happened, you should be able use the 'import recordings' feature and import recordings-dump.xml from the gbpvr directory, which gets created at the time of the EPG update. This should get all the info back for your existing recordings.

In the config app under the plugins tab there is a button to import recordings.
