Hi!

My shows always start with an uppercase letter, but the subtitle file always with a lowercase letter:

The ellen degeneres show_20070813_16051705.mpg
the ellen degeneres show_20070813_16051705.srt

XBMC won't pick up the subtitles this way.
Can this be fixed?

This bug unfortunately still exists in 1.2.9.

If you've got them on your machine with your recordings, then it sounds like you've turned on the option to capture teletext subtitles. There are no teletext subtitles in the US, so these files would always be empty.

Thanks. They're not causing any trouble - I just never could figure out what they were for.

Since you have pvr150's you could run mpg2srt and generate the closed captions files and use them if you wanted
