In which format does Plextor convertx save files ?

maybe somebody with a convertX can answer this question. I'm currently using a pvr-usb2 and end up with .MPG files. Are the files that you capture with the convertX also mpg ? Or does it save them as .AVI ?

You can configure it to capture to either .mpg (MPEG1/2) or .avi (MSMPEG4/DivX). The default profiles I've setup for it has high/medium/low capturing to divx avi, and custom1/custom2 capturing to mpeg2, but you can change these and the resolution/bitrate to suit.
