I can't seem to scan any DVB-s channels using the newer GBPVR vers (1.08 and 1.016). I get just over a 1000 channels using the same settings in MyTheatre. I have a dishpro500 setup and use the "Simple A" LNB setting. I was able to scan using 99.12. I have attached my log and cache files.

Thanks
.

'SimpleA' is only for use with a two way 22KHz switch. I'm fairly sure this option was only added in 1.0.8, so if it worked back in v0.99.12 for you, you were most likely using a different LNB setting.

i have a dish500 setup and was wondering what kinds of channels you get..
i know no encrypted ones, but how about normal stuff like USA and Comedy and Sci-fi channels?
also, what kind of switch do you have? i just have the 2-way 22mhz switch, but would like to get a 4-way like a Diseqc type...
and do you use a normal xml guide or is there any guide data available?

i was thinking about going the Comca$t route, but if i can get this going i'd rather stick with what i have..
also, is it mixed SD & HD? or all one or the other?

something has gone wrong with the frequencies of the satellites for new zealand between 10008 and 10016
when i select optus d1 (free to air) i get the sky channels me guessing its gone to v from h or which ever way round it is

went back 10008 for this reason and the fact that the recording were stopping after a short time on their own even though iot said it was still going

I dont believe that to be the case. Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look. It sounds like you just selected 'Optus D1' instead of 'Optus D1 (NZ Free To Air)'.

ok well it happened now im using 10008 my recordings have gone for over an hour with out stopping the channel scan worked as it should found the right channels

i did it 3 times with 10016 installed
changed to 1008 worked first time

im happy now im sticking with 10008 on this machine
i still believe something has gone wrong with 10016 thats why people are having trouble with tuning

I'm sure you're wrong, but next time you decide to try 1.0.16, post the logs and I'll take a look.

I'm not seeing any increases in posts that make think anything is majorly wrong. It seems to be a fairly normal volume of posts, and no significant issues standing out over what would normally be raised. There is always one or two users that swear the last release was better.

Do a scan, then zip and attach the logs config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.
