Now that I've been using the MVP for a few weeks, a few wishlist items come to mind:
1. I'd love to see the remote commands queue up... for example, you are watching LiveTV and you want to jump up 3 channels. Right now you push channel up 3 times. GBPVR handles each command 1 at a time - it goes up 1 channel, sets up the data stream, displays the stream, then processes the next channel change. It would be awesome if it would look ahead and see if there is another command queued up and handle it appropriately. Like in my example, it would see the channel up button was pressed 3 times and jump 3 channels up. The same with FF through a recording - it would know I hit FF 3 times and jump to the appropriate place.
2. When using the TVGuide - I want to be able to enter a channel # and have it jump to that position. Currently if i'm on channel 2 and I want to get to 300, I have quite a few pages to jump to get there. It's faster to goto LiveTV, jump to channel 300, then TVGuide.
3. The volume controls don't seem to do anything... is this by design?
4. The font is extremely small trying to read the program info or TVGuide from across the room - but I haven't found a PVRX2 theme with a larger font size. Maybe it's something I can change, I'll have to look into it.
5. The "Page Up/Down" buttons don't work on the Recording menu. You have to hit up/down 1 program at a time to scroll.
6. I love how it doesn't require you to hit "OK" to change the channels, but it seems pretty touchy. If you don't push the numbers VERY close together it submtis the channel before you are done. Like for channel 511 - if you hesitate a fraction of a second after pushing 5 to glace down to push 1 1, it will go to channel 5, then channel 11. It was almost better before when you had to push OK.
