Config doesn't remember plugin stuff.

I've noticed for 1.00.8 and 1.00.16 that some changes I make to the plugins do not save. For instance, I just installed GameZone, and I moved it up on the list so it wasn't on the bottom. I went in and out of config a few times and it stayed. Today I went in, and it was back on the bottom.

Also, WebStream (UbuStream). I keep checking it to enable it, but every so often (usually each day) it unchecks itself.

I've noticed other things, but nothing I can pin down exactly. Any thoughts or ideas?

You'd probably need to ask the author of that plugin to look into it.

If they find its GB-PVR's fault, they can let me know what isnt happening and I'll fix it.

Also check that it's not my fault (sheepish grin). I think I've been keeping the config.xml in memory and re-writing it out..

To test it, shut down the MusicLibrary Update service then make your change and see if it sticks...

Yeah, I must admit I did think of you when I saw the comment about the other plugin unchecking itself.

Don't think you're off the hook psycik. I keep setting ML2 to use the database, and it keeps forgetting too.

What would help me to figure this out is, where do the plugins store their info?

Shut down the ML2 service if you use it. And I think be on 6.6 since I thin kI fixed that. Will confirm tonight.

On 6.2... Will try updating later.

Does your ML2 service do anything with the config?

Yeah it does, it updates the last scan time. And I know it was using an old copy.

To get around the problem (without updating ML2) - shut down the service, make the change, then start it again.
