Hauppauge Remote Settings

I have a Windows XP, SP1 system with a Hauppauge PVR-350. It is connected to my Sony Satellite system (DirecTV).The Live TV Works and other features (With Exception of FM Radio). However, I can't get the Silver Remote working. It works in the WinTV 2000 application, I also have a Serial Cable connected to the SAT receiver.

Where and how do I set up the remote so I can stop using this extra monitor and keyboard?

Config app -> Misc -> Use direct access to Hauppauge remote if IR.EXE is not running.

You'll have to close the Hauppauge remote thing, but I think it works more stable and you can control GBpvr without having the window in focus (very handy if you're using the tv-out on the PVR-350).

If you want to continue to use the Hauppauge remote software, then check if GBpvr has added the right stuff in the ini file (ir.ini I think, in /your windows dir/, or something like that )
