Which display do you have in your HTPC case?

  • Soundgraph LCD (96x16)
  • Soundgraph VFD (16x2)
  • VL System OEM MR 600 (TFT LCD)
  • VL System VFD (20x2)
  • VL System Retail LIS MCE
  • Matrix Orbital
  • Hitachi HD44780
  • Futaba VFD
  • CrystalFontz634
  • Other (sorry, with only ten poll options, I didn't know which to include and leave out)

Do you use it with GBPVR? If not, why not?

Oops - left out a "none" option and can't edit one in.

control plugin options not so good thesedays tho,cuz no real plugin for new ver. of gb..Sad
works great with smartie, but the smartie plugin needs 'my videos' plugin which doesn't work anymore...so kinda outta luck with new gb..

I ticked "other" as none. I'd like one, but my real wish would be one on the MVP's as the server is remote.

I have an LCD one that I bought at the local electronics store that's HD44780 compatible. Got it all working, but got the model without the backlight, so it's near impossible to read - well, at least from more than 3' away Sad .
It's been sitting in a drawer ever since. I do have an old 5" lcd that came with our "vcr in a bag" that we bought for the kids to use on road trips. We've since upgraded them to a portable DVD player (no more piles of tapes in the car!)

I currently have it hooked up next to my computer with an MVP - nice to keep an eye on games with it while I'm doing other stuff. I'd thought about trying to set it up as a "second computer display" and run some kind of GBPVR status something or other on it. Of course, it's so old that it only takes composite in so I may have trouble getting it hooked up to a modern video card.

The reason I don't have one is because they are sooooo yesterday. :p

I'm currently developing software for one of these..
