Using the PVRX2 interface
when I setup a reoccuring recording to occur for the season or for every show on a channel. It will save the channel and the times correctly and will record but the Show title and Show description are incorrect. Deleting the reoccuring and resetting it does not help. I have not wiped out my EPG yet but anyone else have similar problems.
Additionally there is a minor interface issue to me. When you are in the TVGuide and select an item to record the recording settings window pops up all of the items advance to the right, except the quality which by default is set to Medium. shouldnt you be able to hit the right arrow and get the high setting this seems more intuitive to me so it would be Low<Med>High not High<Med>Low

Is there a way to set your default method of recording to high with out changing the rates of Medium, I like all of mine on High for the most part?

Yes, I did this because I always set up my own custom recording profiles. I know it is available via the Enhanced Web Admin page but can't quite remember if or where it is located in the config application. (Long time ago, I'm working from memory.)

Check your config pages carefully, I believe the default recording profile is set in the same place you specify default padding time.

Just edit the Medium profile to set it to whatever bitrate etc you'd prefer to use.

I have also experienced the recording title and description being incorrect. Canceling the recording and re-scheduling doesn't fix it. I did try reloading the EPG and it didn't fix it either. I believe it's a bug in the PVRX2 interface somehow since scheduling the same show using the old GBPVR interface doesn't cause the problem.

I don't think it's PVRX2, since I've been having the same issues with the old interface: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=21216

And we're not the only one: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=29423

I am having the same problem with the wrong show title and channel showing up in the recordings menu. It records the show(s) I want it to, but when I check in the recordings screen, the title and channel are incorrect (Who recorded Dr. Phil???). I thought it my be related to something not being cleaned up right while switching EPG sources recently. I have cleaned things up but will have to see how recordings turn out next week.

It's definately something wrong in PVRX2, I have a clean install on a newly built computer and everything works fine except the description in the recording itself. I retried again tonight, I recorded Nascar truck series , the TVGuide gives the right info but the recording info says Paid Programming with the right channel. The recording is the Nascar race. I think it's he xml parser that's mixing up the
description.
Any idea Sub?

I'm guessing it'll be fixed by this patch from a week or so ago: http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=2...stcount=25
