So I've posted this in the SD forums but haven't gotten much help.

Here's the request in the log:
Requesting listings for the period: 2007-09-20T00:00:00Z to 2007-09-27T23:59:59Z

Here's what happens in my log:
zap2it: The endTime you specified T23:59:59Z is not in a valid format, and has been corrected to a default value.
zap2it: The startTime you specified was invalid and has been corrected to 2007-09-20T00:00:00Z.
zap2it: The endTime you specified was invalid and has been corrected to 2007-09-21T23:59:59Z.
zap2it: Your subscription will expire: 2008-03-21T08:30:07Z

I get some tv listings for the default dates (a few hours and mostly in the past) but for the rest I get (no show details) even though it looks like there's info there in the xml file. I've tried everything I could find in both forums and still nothing.

I really dont understand this 'error' as the request date/times look to be in the same format as the defaults they get reset to.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Ryan

This message appears in everyones logs, and has since the old zap2it days, but I'd never bothered looking into it since for most people the end date gets corrected to the day requested (2007-09-27T23:59:59Z).For some odd server-side reason, yours has been corrected to the current day (2007-09-21T23:59:59Z).

And as you say, I'd also thought the date format looked like the same format.

Will have to look in the log file myself, but I am experiencing a similar issue. Install/update everything to the latest version of GBPVR, update EPG through ServiceDirect and everything looks great in the TV Guide until 7:00PM the next night. Everything from 7:00PM on is listed as (no show details). Seems as if I only get about 24 hours worth of TV Listing data.

Try changing your update time by a couple/few hours.

I will try that, but even if I attempt a manual update of the listing nothing gets updated.

I seem to remember a post on the SchedulesDirect forum indicating this can happen when the TCP/IP packets are broken up in a certain way, and they were talking to TMS about it, and a possible fix was configuring Windows for a large MTU or something similar - have a look on the SD forums for more detail. (I think it affected a couple of guys on satellite internet connections in the past)

I will have to try that. Wonder if being on wireless affects this as well?
Tried to do a manual EPG update and this time it worked.

Hi All
I've also posted inthe SD forum and have seen no helpful responses for us GBPVR users.
The suggestions are:
1) increase the MTU of both your computer and router to 1500 [I did that]
2) add a -pad 20 or -pad 40 qualifier to the request command [not sure how we would do that in GBPVR]

I'm getting listings until 7:00 the next day after the update. The request time gets reset to 23:59 Zulu and I'm in the Eastern Time Zone (Zulu-5) = 18:59 - makes sense.

I doesn't look to me like the SD folks are getting to the root of the problem, and I'm not even sure that the kludge with the -pad thing would work for me, but Sub, is there any way to manually execute the EPG update command with the -pad qualifier?
Thanks
Dave

I have no idea what this -pad thing is. Its not something GB-PVR uses.

I suspect this is something TMS will need to fix for SD.

So, how many people is this affecting? This makes me wary of subscribing to SD.
