I suspect it is a bit late for this, but as a mate was coming back from the US this week, I got him to pick up an MCE 250 on the way, as I thought the FM would be a bonus and I didn't really need the 350's added features.
I live in New Zealand, and had read that someone else had had no problem with a US-sourced board doing PAL, however I suspect I should have done a bit more research, as the picture and sound are garbled/multi-coloured, and the PAL option in the Hauppauge software is PAL-M, rather than the PAL-B we use here. It looks like I'll have to do a long-distance return, but I thought I would (belatedly) check here first for confirmation.
(And I'm using composite in from a Saturn cable box, so the tuning isn't the problem)
