I just got SchedulesDirect working and the lineup is correct. My only problem is that most of the channels don't have numbers before them. I set the header type to 1 and it didn't make any difference. I also loaded the pvrx2.exe (as mentioned in another post) and that didn't help either.

Also, where can I find channel icons?

Ok, one more question. The hauppauge remote doesn't work with pvrx2.exe. I stopped ir.exe and that didn't make a difference. How do I get the remote to work with pvrx2.exe?

I cant check the exact name from here, but it something like <ChannelHeaderType>1</ChannelHeaderType> instead of the default value '0'.

Some xmltv sources specify the icon names, so GB-PVR will automatically download them and store them in the correct location. Schedules Direct doesnt supply icon names so there is no automatic download of these but you can manually download them from the http://www.lyngsat-logo.com/ site.

You should just have to click the 'fix hauppauge remote settings' button in the config app, then restart ir.exe.

TVGuideChannelHeaderType. That's what I was referring to when I said "I set the header type". Sorry for the ambiguity. Some Channels still have the number as part of the identifier, most do not.

remote works now. Sub, you are The Man!

Thanks for the link. Just a second ago I searched the forum a bit more and found the link to the logo's. Excellent.

thanks

Sorry, I was skim reading, and overlooked what you'd written. (it was clear enough).

Its most likely due to slight differences in the way the names were handled in zap2it vs SD. It probably would have been cleanest to remove all your capture sources and add them again so all the channel names are in the SD format.

I was hoping you wouldn't say that. Last time I did that I spent all night reconfiguring things. Will do.

Thanks,

Richard

I have this same issue and I do not believe it has been resolved yet. Is this true? The issue is: CBS is displayed but not the coorisponding channel number for CBS. This is an example they are all this way. I also noticed that in config=> channels the Channel name does not include the number as well.

The <TVGuideChannelHeaderType> setting described above does indeed do the correct thing and show the channel number next to the channel number in PVRX2.exe. GBPVR.exe doesnt, but thats because its old and pre-dates the new <TVGuideChannelHeaderType> setting. Use PVRX2.exe instead. (there is a way around this in GBPVR by running some SQL in the database, but I prefer people to use PVRX2.exe...)

Its not supposed to. The US is now treated like the rest of the world, with the channel number not being part of the channel name.
