Help. I just upgraded to 1.0.16 from 99.5 and am now having recording problems.
Problem 1:
It creates a 6kb DVR-MS file and then creates a name-1.dvr-ms file that grows as the show records. This is a problem because the 6kb file is the one that is cataloged in GBPVR so the only way to watch the show is to go to the videos library.

Problem 2:
It records the first program in the above format, but all additional programs produce only 6kb files.

I upgraded from 99.5 to get support for schedules direct and ultimately would like to get the interface back to what I had which included UBU Radio, Music Library 2, and Community skin.

Please help!

Ok, so apparently this is a common problem and I think it has to do with how I have setup the channels. I manually keyed the channels using antennaweb.org because the scan didn't find any channels for some reason. I know they are there because they worked under 99.5 and I can watch Live TV. According to a post from Sub, the format for the entry changed a year ago. What is the new format if it isn't T:58,4,1 ?

Thanks

This actually changed earlier than v0.99.5, but you might have been lucky and the old T:58,4,1 mechanism might still have been able to work at that stage.

These days you dont manually enter the tuning information, instead you click the 'map digital channels to epg channels' button and it'll scan for the channel information it needs.

What do I do if the utility doesn't find any stations?

If that is what actually happened, zip and attach all the log files from the log folder once you have reproduced the problem.

Here you go. One file contains all log files available. The second contains the log files after I rescanned for stations.

Thanks,

It looks like the device is failing to start, but there is no clear indication why. I'm not sure what this Windows error means.
