Help! Can't Stop recording in progress.

I am in need of urgent help. I made a fatal error. I set a manual recording to start at 9:00pm and end at 8:30pm. Recording has started last night at 9:00 and is still recording. When I click live tv conflict comes up (only 1 tuner installed) I choose watch current recording. When i hit stop button on Haup. remote I get no response. I try reboot, and recording continues. How can I force stop recording?

Please help, now the wifes show will not record at 8;00 tonight!

I am using older 99.03 version, I think?

Go to pending recordings and select the recording, then select the cancel button. That should stop the recording and move it into the new recordings view.
