I installed the latest HD Homerun version and I'm unable to watch any HD in GB-PVR, yet the VLC launcher works fine, nothing was changed in GB-PVR, just HDHR.

So I decided to start from scratch, I uninstalled the HDHR software, deleted the directory and clean the Registry for good measure.

I restarted the PC, reinstalled the HDHR Drivers, ran the Setup Utility (and the Channel scan utility). I also had HDHR reinstall the BDA Drivers.

Wiped out my HDHR capture source in GB-PVR and then restarted.

I restarted again and then went into the GB-PVR Config to set up the HDHR (done this about 30 times now) choose the BDA plugin and see my tuner(s) in the list, check off the "only show devices detected in this machine" and both HDHR tuners disappear from the list. if I just select and HDHR tuner with out the "only show devices detected in this machine" filter GB-PVR says that I have to set up a capture source. so now I'm SOL....

I even tried to re-register the filters and I did a repair install. but no luck (after a restart) Here are my log files.

Did you switch to the new .xml file HDHomeRun is using instead of the old bda.remap file? I haven't done this myself yet... still using the 6/20 version because I hate to mess with something that works.

Can you run filtercheck then zip and attach the filtercheck.log? http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=1...ostcount=6, and also attach your bda.ini file?

I believe the filter names changed with the latest software. Run Filtercheck.exe (located in the GB-PVR directory) then view the filtercheck.log to get the correct names. Then update your bda.ini entries with the correct filter names.

Sorry sub, but I don't believe so. Wink

I am actually using an old version of the software because I needed an OTA/QAM combination setup which is not possible with the latest software. I will load the new version on a test machine and check though.

I'm looking to get one of these later this year and I will need OTA on one tuner and QAM on the other. Which software/firmware version will I need? (while I can still find a download available) Do you know if the loss of the combo setup was accidental or intentional?

The loss of the per tuner remapping is because they changed the remapping technique. It now uses an xml file instead of the old remap text file. This ability has not been implemented into the XML configuration yet but it will be. I have no idea when though. The last software version to allow per tuner remapping was the 7/16 version.

Here are the request files, I did check the log file against the BDA.ini but the tuner #s are the same as in the BDA.ini so I don't know what else it to be changed. thanks.

It looks like you've got a broken HDHomeRun BDA driver install. The filternames are present, but it has no input or output pins. I'd try reinstalling the drivers first. If it results in the same thing then you might need to ask on the HDHomeRun forums why your BDA driver install is failing.
