OK, I've had this problem with my EPG not updating at all unless I manually do it from the config screen. (I haven't tried from the tray icon). This problem has been around for a while now, and I can't find the solution. It still does it even though I've reformatted the drive and reinstalled everything.

I don't know what's in the database, but my TV guide only shows listings to 10/19. I get EPG listings for 15 days. So as of this morning (10/9) at 4AM, the listings should be showing up to 10/22. My TVGuide.xml is showing listings for 10/22, GBPVR is still showing listings up to 10/19.

I am using XMLTV to download the SD listings, then using I-XMLTV. This is done via my UpdateEPG.bat. The XML file is being updated everynight, but the updates are not making their way into the GBPVR database. I have the "Complete EPG reload" checked.

I've attached all the logs in my folder. I tried attaching copies of my XML file and my GBPVR database, but the forum wouldn't show the zip file after I uploaded it, so I can send copies of those by email if needed.

Any help with this would be great as I'm at a loss on why it's not updating. And it's driving me crazy as well

Well, when I exited PVRX2 and restarted, the listings all appeared.

Why do I need to exit and restart though? Shouldn't the TV guide update without me doing this?
