Nova-T 500 MCE

My first post here, so i will take the opportunity to say that I think GBPVR is fantastic.

I don't have a tuner card yet and this brings me to my question;

Is the Nova-T 500 MCE the same as the Nova-T 500? Does the MCE bit mean it only works with Media Centre?

I don't know for sure, but the MCE one may rely on the MCE remote whereas the non-mce tuner comes with its own remote.
As I say, I'm not 100% sure.
