Sleeping Schedules Direct!

My GBPVR Status reads, "Schedules Direct....Sleeping". Does anyone know how to wake up Schedules Direct, I tried restarting the recording service and rebooting my system, but it will not wake up! Please any ideas?:confused:

Where does it say that? I'm not aware of anything that will produce that message.

Ah, have you named your capture source 'Schedules Direct', and you're seeing this message in the tray icon? If so, then its saying your capture source is not in use at the moment. When you view live tv, or do a recording, then you'll see it is no longer 'sleeping'.

ie, this is nothing to do with Schedules Direct.

On the system tray when I right-click the GBPVR recording status...it says "schedules direct...sleeping" when I click on Update EPG. I did go to live tv as you suggested....still will not update epg. I went into "System" and Update EPG....and it says that it is initializing....and it says something about "Zap2It". I can't figure out why it keeps trying to go to "Zap2it" instead of "schedules direct" for the EPG update! I have checked my GBPVR Config and it says the capure source is "schedules direct".....just a note...I had both "schedules direct and zap2it" listed, but since removed "zap2it". Any ideas how I can get my "Schedules Direct" back on track again?:confused:

Just totally ignore this "schedules direct...sleeping" thing. Its nothing to do with your EPG. It only says "schedules direct...sleeping" because you named your capture source "Schedules Direct". Most people would have named there capture source something like "Hauppauge PVR150", then would have got a message like 'Hauppauge PVR150 ...sleeping'. This status will only changed to something other than 'sleeping' when the capture source is being used to watch live tv or do a recording.

The schedules direct listings still come from the zap2it servers, so you can safely ignore that fact it's saying 'zap2it'. I've changed the message for the next release to remove any confusion.

Hit the 'Update EPG' button in the config app capture source settings, then wait, then zip and attach the config.exe.log and I'll take a look.

Ok Sub, I have attached my "Config.exe.log" as requested. Be aware that I'am using Windows 2000. Hope this helps!

Sorry, but thats log file doesnt show everything I need.

Can you enable log flushing in the config app, then hit ok to apply it, then start the config app again and hit the 'update epg' button, then zip and attach the config.exe.log again?

Getting closer...but still not quite there. That is a complete log file, but doesnt show an attempt to update the epg. In the config app you need to view your capture source settings, and click the 'Update EPG' button on that screen. I suspect your did the 'Update EPG' on the tray app instead?

Can you try again, then repost the log.
