I wondering why i can't receive my streamed Videos anymore, since i upgrade to GB-PVR 1.x.xx.

If i open the Webinterface, then under the files are only "Play Programm" and "Download". Before GB-PVR 1.x.xx there was a button "Stream" too, but this one is missing now.
Furthermore i am missing the config-page for the muxxer, codec etc. where are all the things? Since i am on GB-PVR 1.x.xx i can't receive any stream more. *suspect*
Has something significant changed sind last WebEPG? Even i configured the VLC as standardplayer for video and audio and checked "open in external player" (or even dischecked) just the WMP opens and try to DOWNLOAD the files.

Ah, if it should be of interest: This system acts as a Streamingserver for my networkclients too, but this works without any problems. Just the Webinterface doesn't do it's job.

It's not much help, but on my system the stream-button is there under the recordings and under the videos tab. I use the latest EWA, I have no idea what is the matter.

Sorry, but not one streaming button. I reinstalled the last version of EWA and nothing changed. And one of the biggest Problem: where can i configure the streaming configuration? I have just an Upload of max. ~700 Kb/s, and mostly only 500 Kb/s. This is for the defaultconfiguration to less.

Mhm, i couldn't find anything through the forum or the wiki.

My Experience till now: The newer the GB-PVR Version so lesser the functionality. Undecided Nearly no Plugin is working right anymore.

I think you'll have to wait for UJB.

Yep, i think so too. No Problem, i could live since GB-PVR 1.0.8 without streaming, also i will do a few days more too.

Thank you for your help. ;-)

The stream button will appear when you have the directory to VLC set in the config tab. Make sure your directory for VLC follows this format.....if you miss the \ at the end VLC will not be found and you will not see the stream button.

C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\Vlc\

Let me know how you make out.

You're great! Thank you! Now all is back again. My error was, that i had appended after \VideoLAN\Vlc\vlc.exe
Don't ask me why, i don't know it, and never touched it. But now, after i removed this all is working again.

Thanks to you!

This is only somewhat related, but I wanted to post it as it helped me...

If you have VLC config'd properly but your client programs still can't find a stream at http://YourPVRServer:7648/ - be sure to CHECK YOUR WINDOWS FIREWALL on your GBPVR server!

I had the Windows firewall turned on, but there was no rule to open port 7648 for outgoing traffic. I created the rule, and the streams were then available to all my streaming clients.

Hope this helps!
