Hi !
I am new here and install gbpvr yesterday. Before gbpvr I deinstalled beyond tv 3.5. It was only a trial.
Installation works fine but after power on on my mediamvp I saw only a single green rectangle.

Everybody know the solution ?

Does your MVP work fine using the Hauppauge software?

I see only the green rectangle on tv via mvp, that is the problem.

I think, it´s a display problem....

The boxes breakdown as follows:

First - Checking Ethernet Connectivity
Second - Contacting DHCP Server
Third - Contacting MediaMVP Bootserver
Fourth - Loading Application
Fifth - Starting Application

Do you have a DHCP server running on the same subnet?
WinXP Home
3 X MVPs
Hauppauge 250 MCE
Hauppauge 150
P-4 2.4 GHz / 768 megs Ram
610 Gigs Of Media Storage

As colin also said, does it work fine with the Hauppauge software?

When booting (before the MVP talks to GB-PVR), the MVP normally shows a blue screen with the MVP logo and a series of initialization messages. If it doesn't get this far, it sounds like you've got a broken MVP.

No, the green rectangle is after the connection is ready.

So what you are saying is it goes through all the steps jorm has outlined then you are presented with a green triangle?

If yes, what software are you using on your PC to allow you to use the MVP (or in this case produce a green triangle)?

What version of the dongle.bin are you using?

You need to stop the Hauppauge software before you can see the GB-PVR interface on your MVP. Click Start -> Programs -> Hauppauge MediaMVP -> Stop.
