This is probably going to be the stupidest question asked today but here goes:

I've GB-PVR set up. I think its awesome. The only question I have is how to get it to record in MPEG rather than MS-DVD. I know its possible because I had it doing it, but since a Windows reinstall it's back to MS-DVD and I can't remember how I changed it.

I have a Hauppage Nova-T 90002.

Thanks in advance.

In your GBPVR configuration you have to change the muxer form MS-DVR to Cyberlink.

You'll have to have the Cyberlink installed though, otherwise it'll continue to use the DVR-MS mux.

Hi,

I have installed Cyberlink PowerDVD and Cyberlink is chosen on Config/Misc/BDA Multiplexer...

Still recording DVR-MS.

Am I looking in the wrong place?

Thanks.

Cyberlink PowerDVD doesnt come with a mux - its only player software. If you run MuxChecker it'll tell you what muxes you have installed.

This post should help you: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=25630
