IO Error Not enough space when archiving to nearly Empty External USB ?

I get an IO Error and a PVRX2.exe.log "Not enough space" error when archiving to a nearly Empty External USB ?

It's a new disk, Buffalo 320GB, 300GB empty :confused:

Fixed it.. :o

I tried manually copying a file in there and lo and behold it said not enough space. :confused:

New HD, it was formatted as FAT32, said 300GB .. so I tried to reformat it, using NTFS and it worked.

No idea why FAT32 from the factory was no good.

fat 32 doesnt let all embeded info in the mpeg file plus its limited to the size a single file can be i think its 4GB

Glad you got it working. The XRecord archiving code should really catch the exception and fail gracefully though.

The newest XSuite version on the wiki will now catch exceptions in the archiving thread and log the errors instead of crashing.
