file conversion never starts

Is there anything more that I have to do other than set up the conversion on the processing tab in config? It seems like it's never starting. If I set it to begin ASAP then shouldn't it start running as soon as I close the config?

Reproduce the problem then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

I set up the conversion to begin ASAP then closed config. I don't think it ever started. I've attached my logs.

It'll only do the conversion on files that are recorded after you enabled that setting. Now that you have the setting enabled, do a recording then wait a bit, then zip and attach the logs.

I recorded the last few minutes of a show and waited for a few hours. I can't see that it started a conversion. I zipped the new logs.

Try downloading SQLiteSpy, then open the GBPVR.db3 file, then execute the following SQL.

Code:

DELETE FROM TRANSCODE_QUEUE

... then try again.

that did it! but now I'm having the problem where it hangs up converting HD content (dvr-ms to mpeg)

but I'll check out that thread now.

well now I can't seem to find the thread I was thinking of. When I record HD content and then it auto converts to mpg, it only gets a little ways into it and then the process takes up a big chunk of resources but produces nothing else.

Was there ever a solution for this? Did it have something to do with the mux?

Also, I tried to go from dvr-ms to xvid, but it tried to make an mpg, does it do that first?

The cyblerlink can have problems with converting high def ATSC .dvr-ms files to .mpg files. No there wasnt any solution.

Yes, it does need to remux to .mpg before converting.

Most ATSC users find they just have to stick with .dvr-ms files.
