Hi all.. this is obviously a rather silly question for some of you but if ya dont ask how are you to know.. right? I have been using GBPVR for about 1.5 years now and i just have to say THANK YOU to all involved. I was considering the Hauppauge MVP but i was a little concerned about the various formats for video as well as audio. My question is this..Will the MVP play anything that GBPVR will play?? Is it mirroring the GBPVR screen? Thanks in advance for any help in this matter.

Have a read through the linked pages on this page. The FAQ one is especially useful.

The device only natively plays MP3 audio files or MPEG1/MPEG2 video files. Anything else has converted to one of these on the fly - un the case of video this requires quite a bit of CPU, and comes with some limitations, so best to stick with MPEG2 video if you can. (but it is good enough for watching the occasional avi file)

You get pretty much what you see on PC, with the exception of animations. The device is too slow to smoothly show animations.
