Hey guys,

I currently have an NVidia 8800GT in my PC. It has 2 DVI outs and an S-Video out. I have 2 monitors on the PC, hooked up to the 2 DVI slots. If I hook up the TV to the S-Video slot, will I be able to run GB-PVR on the TV ("3rd monitor") while still having control of the PC from the 2 monitors? Or will the PC be unusable while GB-PVR is running even though it's not on the primary display?

Thanks,

Nic

does the 8600 let you do that i only have a lesser card and you can only run 2 monitors at a time (svideo out is still considered a monitor)
if the card lets you do it then i cant see why it wouldnt work

I haven't tried it (don't have my HDTV yet, hehe), but I think it will work with UltraMon. For 2 monitors, though, does it work? Can you run GB-PVR full screen on the 2nd monitor and use the primary monitor normally?

yes you can run gbpvr on second monitor while still doing other stuff on the other monitor
if using HDTV you wont want to be using the svideo out anyway otherwise it wont be HD
i had a look im pretty sure you wont be able to run all 3 outputs at the same time
