Live TV is skipping frames on initial channel

I've been having a minor, annoying issue. When I first start live TV, no matter what channel starts, it has jutter or a jerkiness to the picture. After I change the channel, it is smooth again.

I was curious if anyone else has seen this problem

I've had this problem ever since I first started using GBPVR last year, but I got used to it.

But try using different decoders and see if it helps.

I use Nvidia Purevideo and Cyberlink. They both do the same.

It's in my signature I use a Hauppauge PVR-150. Try messing around with the Live TV pre-play delay setting from the Playback tab in Config and see if that helps. There are lots of variables involved; tweaking the bitrate for Live TV might have an effect as well.
