First I must say that 1.1.5 is the dogs danglies!

I tried again to use the web scheduling from work. Local government = strong security.
Only port I can get through on is 53 (email?)
I get the login screen, but that's as far as I can get - I enter the name and password but when I hit enter nothing happens - except the password becomes blank again. I am def. using the correct password, and If I use local host on the gbpvr PC it works fine.

I think I'm on a hiding to nothing, but any ideas?

Post what shows up in the log.....there should be a whole string of entries when logging in. I added a bunch of logging in that area some time back when someone reported the same problem.

My guess is it is something on your work PC preventing the client side script from performing the necessary encryption to the post back information.

You can see your log by going to the Statistics tab and then selecting the log link or you can drill down into the file system under one of the subdirectories located here.....look for the one with the gbpvrpublic.dll file and you will see a logs sub directory....

Log attached - I think this was when I tried several times to login. Anyway when I enter the correct password and name I cannot get past the login screen...

Try this beta.....there are a couple of changes in the login page to support the new CSS based screens.

let me know....I don't know if it will help or not.

Note: For this beta just load it over your existing web directory.......I removed a folder which apparently is triggering the GBPVR reinstall which will revert EWA back to the GBPVR shipping version (67 I think).

No joy I'm afraid - but thank you for posting the beta...
I have attached the logs just in case - they don't mean much to me!
I am puzzled what is different about the gbpvr EWA - I can visit pretty much any web page from work, so I assume there is something different about EWA that stops it getting through the firewall? I even found the port that my work uses for internet - 8080 - but setting gbpvr to use 8080 made no difference.

I see tons of failed logins due to the hash of the password not matching....I saw a couple of sucessful logins......however you indicated that you are not getting to the guide.

Have you tried accessing your EWA from outside of your network other than from your work......my guess is something is getting in the way of the establishment of your authentication.

Easiest way to prove it is to go over to a neighbors house and try accessing your EWA from there. You can also PM me your login info and I can try from my place if that is easier.

This has occurred several other times and it has always turned out to be something at the workplace. Perhaps a proxy server that is caching credentials or something.

Let me know.

Yes, sorry, I should have stated that I can login to GBPVR from any other PC I have tried - for example from a friends house. It is just from work that I cannot. As suspected it must be down to whatever setup they use.
I'll just have to be organised and set any recordings I want the night before...
