Sub,

I had an odd thing happen. I had LiveTV(Ch 50) playing on an MVP. Using the PC client, I scheduled a show(CH 2) to record at 3:00pm. I have two PVR-250s. At 3:00, liveTV stopped for a couple of seconds. When it came back on the show was the Ch 2 show that was suppose to be recording. The filenames were messed up also. The was a small non growing file for the Ch 2 recording. The actual video from Ch 2 that was being played on LiveTV was being put into a file under the LiveTV directory and had the name of the original Ch 50 show.

It is still recording right now. Do you want me to stop everything and send logs or wait until recording is finished and send logs?

Please post the eventual solution to this. I've had the same problem altho not with two 250's...I have a 150 and an Asus card but it does the same thing. Really weird. I sent sub the logs a while back but figured he was busy with the new release. I have a second 150 on its way that I'll use to replace the Asus so I'll have two of the same card but it looks like that may not be a factor. I can send logs, too, if necessary...

Just a follow-up...I haven't seen it when using the MVP but it will happen when watching Live TV on the monitor and a recording starts...probably the same issue but slightly different manifestation...

Another followup...is your system an HP? HP claims that two cards will not work in their Media Center systems, at least not with MCE2005. Hopefully, with GB-PVR it's not a problem (my system IS an HP Media Center...). We'll see...my second 150 should arrive tomorrow...
