Dunno wtf happened, for some reason my dual tuner setup wasn't working (only recording 1 show instead of 2), so I ran a re-install and picked repair, now GB-PVR has lost my entire recorded programs list. I have a 941MB gbpvr.mdb file but I guess it's not "seeing" it for some reason? Any help on getting it back is appreciated, logs of what I have are attached.

From the config log, it looks like you are pointing to the SQLite3 database gbpvr.db3, not the access MDB.

Code:
2008-01-11 22:53:29.030 VERBOSE [1] databaseConnectionString is Data Source="C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\gbpvr.db3";Version=3;New=True;

Basically, you have two options:

  1. Change your connection string in the config.xml.
    • Copy config.xml to config.xml.SAVE (this is your backup!!)
    • Open config.xml with notepad (DO NOT USE WORDPAD)
    • If you search for DatabaseConnectionString, you will find the SQLite entry. You want to replace those three lines with the one for the Access db definition (examples are in the config file).
  2. Convert your access .MDB to a SQLite database. This thread should get you thru the conversion: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...geDatabase
I know converting the db sounds like a hassle, but the MDB won't be supported much longer, so I suggest you convert now.

Before you do any more backup recording-dump.xml and recording-dump.xml.bak from teh gbpvr directory. If you haven't overwritten these then they can be used to import your lists of recordings. They are created when the epg update is run.

Ok, back in business, did the database conversion. Can't believe how much more compact the new database is (~9 meg instead of over 900 meg!) Some funky things in the recordings list, it thinks some of my recordings are/were manual recordings (they weren't) but that's no big deal, at least they're listed. Also some funky things in my pending recordings list, so I had to empty then update my EPG to clean that up also. My dual tuner is working again so I can record 2 things at once (for now, until that randomly breaks again).

Thanks for all the help, doing a full directory backup right now.
