This is something I noticed in version 0.22 as well so I thought I had better mention it. When I schedule South Park for a season record at a specified time (Wednesdays at 10:00pm), it records every episode instead of just the ones in that time frame. Thanks for everything so far sub.

By the way, I'm on the west coast of the US (GMT-8) and I use version 0.23.11, listings from zap2it, pvr250

Timeslot season recordings definitely seem to be working ok here.

Delete your "pending" episodes, then start the config app and click "Update EPG". This will force GB-PVR to try to schedule any matching season recordings. Then zip and email the config.exe.log and gbpvr.mdb file.

You did select to do a "timeslot season recording"? If you selected to record season, it'll record every occurrence of that show on the same channel. The timeslot option will narrow this to only shows in a specific time period.

Sub (and anyone else really)

I've noticed this one myself, but it isn't really a problem unless it causes a conflict or unless I'm low on disk space (which is rare/unlikely), but the option to record all episodes/this channel/this timeslot doesn't take the day of week into account.

In other words, if a program is scheduled for 9pm on Monday and repeated at 9pm on Friday you will get both occurences, however, if the subsequent repeats of a program are in a different 'daily' timeslot (by as much as a minute) this doesn't happen.

I've not reported it as a problem myself as it's actually saved me a couple of times from losing something as if something has gone wrong with my PC the first time a programme was aired it's caught it for me the second time round. It does get a tad annoying though when recording something that is on a cyclical season. I'm currently recording all episodes of FireFly on Sci Fi channel (Sky Digital, UK). There were only 9 or 10 episodes made and at least one of them is on every day in 2 possible timeslots. I'm still waiting for the last episode to come around again, meanwhile it's recorded the same episodes several times.

Is there any way that the recording service could be made to look for the episode subtitle (if there is one) and ignore it if you already have it in your previous recordings?

i am sure i did a timeslot season record so I'm not sure what the problem is. i have tried deleting pending, emptying and updating the epg but with no luck. i will get those files like you said and email them to you. Thanks sub and keep up the great work.
