Tuner card support

I just heard about this program, downloaded it and installed it, looks like it might be something I will like, but....

I do not see my Kworld tuner cards listed. Does one have to input their card or is there a way to have the software scan the system and find cards it can use? Does it support any of the Kworld tuner cards?

What model kworld do you have?

if its an analog card its need a mpeg hardware encoder (there should be a chip on the board that will say something like "mpeg2 encoder" on it)
i looked up the kworld web site but its crap as far as what the board actually uses for hardware so i couldnt actually tll if they do or not

for digital (dvb-s dvb-s etc) it needs to have bda drivers

I have two, the first is a PCI and it's a Kworld ATSC 115 plus and the other one is the Kworld ATSC 110 USB. They are digital and I use them for OTA ATSC.

ok when you go to config
add capture card
select bda device
tick the box that says only show devices on this machine they will show up if they are going to work natively
if not if they use bda drivers you will have to add
there are directions on the wiki of how to add

I just installed GB-PVR and I selected Kworld 110 and it works fine with the Kworld 115. Only issue I see is watching while recording but I don't think that's related.
