Blue-Retro-SHV Skin updated

My wife loves the skin you have created. I have two items that do not work with your skin: Weather and Web Streams. When I hit either of these menu items, it returns back to the main menu.

I would try the solution as suggested by ACTCMS (& actually as suggested on the B-R-SHV wiki page under "More on Plug-in Compatibility" :p) for both the Weather & Web Streams plugins, I have tested the Weather plugin in the past & it worked fine for me once I had copied the Weather skin sub folder into the Blue-Retro-SHV skin folder.

Another issue I saw was that in Recordings, if the type of show and rating line run long, it cuts into the show description. See the attached screen shot for an example.

Thanks for pointing that out to me, I will put out a patch in a week or two as I am totally tied up feeding baby parrots for the next week or two. Which would you prefer to see the whole rating line & loose a line of the description or just cut off the rating line?

Is there a way to put some sort of padding or spacing to drive the description down a bit? If not, I would rather see the rating line cut off and keep the full description.

beyonder74, the new version should fix this problem for you, sorry for the delay getting this update out for you but when making the modifications for you & fixing a few things that were bugging me it sort of snowballed a HUGE amount into me going over all the skin files & "hopefully" making the whole skin much better all round for everyone using it

The most notable affects are how many rows are viewable in the larger lists like the Video Library.

Any idiers?

Not really they are set in the skin.xml files, most of the font sizes are in the baseskin.xml & can be easily edited...but that won't change the spacings for the box's they display in etc.

The only thing I can think of without a bit more information/screenshot is maybe you have pressed the "Mode" button without realising it & changed the view from "list" to "details"?

In list view for the Video Library it displays 13 rows, details view 7 rows, icons 6 icons in 2 rows & filmstrip view 2. For the Music Library it is list 11, details 5, icons 6 & filmstrip 3.

I just noticed I have a bug there & it should display 3 in filmstrip view for both Video & Music...I will fix it for the next release :o

That was it, somebody hit the blue button on one of the clients. I forgot about that feature. It kind of threw me that it was affecting all of them, even server PC. Thanks for the tip.

For any of you that want to use the new pin code protected directories in 1.4.7 I have attached the missing popup, just unzip it & copy the PinCodePopup into ..\Skin2\Blue-Retro-SHV\Popups
