Leadtek 3100H support?

Hi, I am trying to get the GB-PVR to work on my Leadtek 3100H, but I have failed so far. The configuration is a bit complex at the first sight, but I think I am trying to do it correctly. However, the digital TV card list contains only Leadtek 2000H and similar. I have tried to use that, but the GB-PVR only tells me that there is no such card in my PC. Is it possible to run it in a different way or do I need to hope in a new version with 3100H support included? (Pretty please )

You'll probably need to add a section to the bda.ini file to get it going. If you run the filtercheck.exe utility from the gbpvr directory, then attach the filtercheck.log that gets created, I'll tell you what needs to be addded.

Watching a channel in LiveTV worked fine but when I try to schedule a recording, nothing appears after the recording completes.

Can you zip and attach the complete log file?

I'm not sure this device is usable in GB-PVR for analog tv. It should be compatible for DVB-T though.

Hi Sub,

Here's the complete log.

I really like this card as 1) it's cheaper than the Hauppauge PVR150 2) It's Low profile ~ Great for small cases 3) It supports power-on using the remote control. That's something you don't get from Hauppauge.

I am still trying to figure out how to get GBPVR to work with the native IR receiver. I guess buying an unsupported card is really pushing my luck too far.

Yeah, people typically fare much better by picking a common card that is well supported. Personally I think its not worth saving a few dollars if you end up with hardware that struggles to work with the common applications, or doesnt work at all. Usually people dont realise this until they own the device though.
