I have a HVR 1110, based in the UK watvhing freeview only. Running on Windows XP pro.

My two questions are:

Is there anyway to make the menu bar disspaear when watching in full screen? Also I can see the start menue and task bar at the bottom.

Anyone else in the uk getting choppy playback compared to haupagge software?

Press Alt-Enter to toggle between fullscreen and window mode.

This would typically come down to the combination of video decoder and video renderer you're using, or your machine being underpowered. From memory the Hauppauge software is using the Intervideo or Mainconcept decoder with Overlay video renderer.

You can choose different video decoders and renderers on the playback tab of the config app.

I only see four options, only vmr9 and vmr9 fullscreen work. Can I add more?

Also I notice that the aspect ratio is wrong on some channels, changing the AP in config does nothing.

Look under MPEG-2 playback just below (Video Decoder). I've use NVIDIA Video Decoder since I have pure video installed. I use 'VMR9 Custom' for the Video Renderer

Are you running the current 1.2.9 release? Overlay was added in 1.2.9.

Press F7 until you get to the 'auto' aspect ratio. You also need to have the video decoder set to something other than 'system default' for this to work.

If you can get a screenshot, post it and I'll take a look. Is this in PVRX2.exe or GBPVR.exe?
