I have been running gbpvr for awhile now and have found the forums and the wiki immensely helpful in getting things working. Now I have dug up the hauppauge nova-s that I had lying around from my mediaportal days and the issues have started.

I can not find a suitable bda driver - I have tried the technotrend one but it doesn't seem to like it (will battle on a bit longer).

Does anyone happen to have a working bda driver for the nova-s that I could steal, borrow, use?

Keep up the awesome work Sub and if I had any knowledge or ability in this area I would be happy to help

As far as I know you need to hav ethe TechnoTrend driver installed.

If you run the filtercheck.exe utility from the gbpvr directory, then attach the filtercheck.log that gets created, I'll take a look to see if you've successfully got BDA drivers installed.

Cheers. I suspect you're safe though, I think the last time I went there was with my parents on a summer holiday about 20 years ago. Big Grin

Right

Apparently the technotrend drivers I got from the german website do not contain any information regarding my device ...

Does any one have an older version of these drivers or are able to tell me the driver version i need?

EDIT:

Just found the english version of the website and there is 3 different budget cards, will try the drivers for all three and see what works

2nd edit:

Apparently the same driver for all three, will try the mce version that is there as well

3rd Edit

The mce version has the same result no suitable hardware, the original version i tried was 5.0......something does anyone have a 4 series driver
