Community Skin Selected Item 'cut off' on RHS

Hi there,

been waiting a while for this. Decided on a new rebuild to 1.2.9 and to stick with default Blue skin until everything was working. Got to the stage today where it was and then wanted to set up the Comm 3 Skin as I have used in the past. Using the Skin Plugin as well. I now have everything as I want EXCEPT!

If I had a screen grabber set up on my server I would just show the pics but don't

Main screen, selected item (general theme is MCE) the Right Hand Edge of the selected item goes beyond the edge of the screen (does that make sense?) i.e. it should be a long oval, left hand side is rounded but the right hand side stretches past the edge of viewer so is cut off straight?

Any thoughts?

You can always screen capture by pressing the printscreen key on the keyboard, then pasting it into MS Paint.

I would have to see what Main Menu you selected. If it is the default BlueMCE2 theme, you should be fine????

I'll double check it just to make sure. Could you zip and attach the skin.xml file in the Skin2\Community2\Menu folder?

Alright, I have a fix and I needed to tweak the NowPlaying panel in the main menu.

Sorry if I was a bit short in last post.

This has worked a treat. Oval now on the right as well, not cut off anymore. For anyone with the same problem this should be pasted into the Skin 2 directory of GBPVR.

By dumping the new Panel and Menu items into Skin 2 all works as previously noted. BUT if I then enter PVRX2 other changes that I have made with the Skin Plugin revert back to original settings. Most notably, although I am most fond of GBPVR, I like to have a transparent setting for my background without the logo. If I set this to transparent it overides the new files you have given and I get the RHS Cut off again but with no GBPVR logo in the background. If I then paste the updated files back in to Skin 2 the RHS cut off disapears but I get the logo back.

Are some people never happy :p

I should have said before thanks for the tip on Print Screen and Paint, I never knew!

To illustrate have attached file in case I haven't been clear.

What is happening is, the older menu is being pulled in from the Plugins directory.
Just replace the skin.xml file in the menu folder instead of the image files and you will be set. I will upload to the wiki this weekend an update to the CommunitySkin with this change.
