comskip 'aspects' file visible in Video Library

When you enable comskip to start generating an 'aspects' file, that file is visible in Video Library. Its other files .txt, logo etc are hidden....

They dont show up here. I cant see how they would possibly show up in the Video Library unless you've added "aspects" to the <VideoLibraryExtensions> setting in config.xml.

I added it to the entry that will help GBPVR delete associated files...

Having it in <DeleteAdditionalExtensions> wont cause it to show up. It'll only show up if you have it in <VideoLibraryExtensions>.

I double checked. None of my setups have anything added to <VideoLibraryExtensions>

On my client, there is nothing changed (at all) from the config.xml

Its server has aspects added only to <DeleteAdditionalExtensions>
Recording now. Can't remove the setting and restart service...

I'm not sure what else to say. I know exactly what you mean when you say it can't happen. But its happening...

Sorry, I cant think of any reason other than "aspect" having been added to the <VideoLibraryExtensions> setting.

I wonder if if the pvrx2 patch version has something to do with it. I know I patched it with a version to give me a settings with MVP Transcode PrePlay Delay.

So that's not the same version as comes with the package.

Do you just love it when no one believes you, but in the end proof proves you were right?

I tested yesterday by creating a ".aspect" file, note the lack of trailing "s". Today I tried again, and my ".aspects" file did turn up. The regular expression for validating the file extension wasnt specific enough and was basically saying "after the . and ends with ts" is a valid extension, but didnt account for names that might occur with characters between the . and the ext.

Easy fix. Update the following settings in config.xml to:
